Honestly, there hasn't been one major thing that has helped me, but alsomt every post has done something for my thought process and my knowledge of the recording/mixing process. I have referred friends from all over the place to this site, as it is some amazing knowledge. One thing that stuck to me however is the GAS articles. I actually slimmed my studio down a LOT after reading it nd realizing I have a lot more than I really need.

Cut before you boost. a0Remember the ceontxt of the entire mix and don't live on Solo. a0If you're going to gently compress the 2-Bus/Master then best to do so at the beginning of a mix. a0There are no hard & fast rules and many, including the above, can be tossed if it serves the mix well AND if you've mastered & regularly apply the essentials.a0Grats on the 500th post Joe! a0This site does so many great things through your blog and products, I recommend you all the time to people and I have learned so much here. a0 a0Keep up the great work buddy!

Carol - Kerri, your photos are bfetuiaul; how could you go wrong with such a handsome groom and perfectly lovely bride? I am Colleen's Aunt Carol (known as A.C.). The wedding was so much fun. Honeymoon Island, the reception, the ceremony, the food and all the family and friends hanging out together made this one of the best weekends I've ever had! My husband John and I are so happy that we were there to help celebrate!CONGRATULATIONS TO DAVE AND COLLEEN. Welcome to the crazy family, Dave. God bless you both and bless your marriage. Much Love, A.C.
